To attain the stated objectives, the GEMS will formulate, initiate and foster necessary activities, such as:

1. Generating interest in plants and providing information about indoor and outdoor plants.

2. Generating awareness and enthusiasm towards plants in children at school level.

3. Locating suitable spaces for raising plantations in the city and invoke people of that area to undertake and safeguard plantations.

4. Try to make city greenin densely populated ares by planting creepers and other plants with the help of people in the area.

5. Advocating the use of plants in reducing air and sound pollution.

6. Generating job opportunities for gardeners.

7. Organizing Local and Regional Chapters of GEMS in other States/Districts of India.
